Asami’s unsent letter:
Dear Korra,
How are you feeling? Today I want to tell you a story…
You know how much I used to love my black and red car. A few months ago I chose a new car and… this time I chose it in blue.
At first it was unconscious… But now I understand why I did that election…
I don’t really know when this happened. Sometimes I think I always felt that a little bit. Sometimes I think it was after the Harmonic Convergence.
That was the time when I started to feel some kind of inevitable attraction to you. Like I couldn’t just be without you. So now I know why I started making excuses, like teaching you to some driving lessons.
And I also started feeling so protective about you, even when you are the Avatar. Maybe it’s ridiculous that I feel that way…
When we were traveling along the Earth Kingdom, I remember I started trying to read your mind so hard. Because I felt that you were so worried. And all I wanted was to make you feel better. Completely happy and full of energy as you are.
I know you need your time to recover. But I just wanted you to know that I miss you so much.
Like for real… I want to see your blue eyes and your beautiful smile again.
What I’m trying to say is you’ve become more than a friend to me…
And I’ll be here waiting for you or I’d follow you to hell if you ask me. Just say the word…
You mean a lot to me.
